J Seven Media was appointed by John Glen Garage Doors to increase their market share in a competitive local marketplace. Having been established for over 40 years, they have a strong brand presence however their efforts to break through the noise was becoming increasingly difficult and were looking for a different approach.

Their primary marketing methods of roadside signage near their premises and word of mouth was no longer yielding the results required for growth so we provided an outside perspective and a strategy to make John Glen the first company the public would think of when considering a new garage door.

It was important with this campaign to be very clear in approach, unlike National brands where more abstract communication provides an upturn in interest. With this in mind, we created a clear yet minimal campaign which cemented John Glen as ‘THE’ place to go for a new garage door.  With over 40 years experience and a specific 0% VAT mobility offer in place, we deployed a campaign to reach the masses, locally and across South Wales, communicating their services, their experience and their aftercare to the public using a mix of out of home, transport media, radio and social media to ensure a campaign with high visibility and repetition with key demographic targeting to those who could take advantage of their mobility offer.

The campaign resulted in significant growth over a 6 month period and the need to begin recruiting for new fitting and office staff.
